Mr. T. P. Sreenivasan is one of India’s most distinguished diplomats, having served in the Indian Foreign Service for 37 years. He served as India’s Representative to the United Nations in Vienna and as Governor for India at the International Atomic Energy Agency. His diplomatic postings include India’s Ambassador to Austria and Slovenia, Deputy Chief of Mission in Washington,High Commissioner to Kenya, Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Nairobi,Ambassador to Fiji and eight other South Pacific Island States, and postings at Indian missions in okyo, Thimphu, Moscow, New York, and Yangon.

With nearly 20 years of experience in multilateral diplomacy, Mr. Sreenivasan has represented India at numerous international conferences organised by the United Nations, the Commonwealth, and the Non-Aligned Movement. He has chaired several UN Committees and served on the National Security Advisory Board of the Government of India. He speaks Japanese and Russian, has authored several books, and is widely known for his programme on Asianet News, 'Videsa Vicharam.
